Use This Four Step Beginner Guide to Become a Better Anarchy Online Player
Anarchy Online, which has been operating since 2001, is now one of the oldest surviving science fiction MMORPGs, or massive multiplayer online role playing games. The plot of the story is complex, but basically involves a fight for the rights to a planet called Rumi Ka. In the game, players fight with various sides in order to gain control. Beginning a game, especially if you do not have much experience with MMORPGs, can be intimidating. Here is a quick Anarchy Online guide to help you get started.
1. If you are planning to start an Anarchy Online account, you now have the option of playing for free using the free play program. In this setup, you just need to agree to seeing ads in the game, which usually appear on virtual billboards located in high traffic gaming areas.
2. In this game, you have a choice of character breed. The Solitus breed, which is most humanlike, is a good beginning character to go with. Opifex is agile, Atrox is the strongest, and Nanomage has the highest mental abilities. Because Nanomages have difficulty with health, though, they are not recommended as a first time character since you will probably get hit a lot.
3. You can receive an apartment, which can be very useful for storing items you receive during the game. These apartments are located in the backyard section for any faction, and they are free. Everyone receives one, and all you have to do is just walk into the apartment complex. Anarchy Online guides should tell you to keep in mind, though, that the game gives you no reminders of where you live, so remember! After your original walk in, you need an Ownership Access Card to enter the apartment.
4. Want to make things happen more quickly in the game? You can buy Anarchy Online credits. Normally while playing it takes time to accrue credits, especially at lower levels and when you are new, which can be frustrating since credits can be used to pay for everything from weapons, to ads, to upgrades. Credits come at a good rate per dollar, and can help make your overall playing experience more enjoyable.
